Día de Muertos is a celebration of life, the perfect time to reminisce about good times with your dead loved ones and to enjoy this specially crafted cocktail from Bar Akan
Ingredients:
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Ancho Reyes liquor- is an authentic spicy liqueur crafted from chile ancho and chile poblano originary from Puebla, Mexico.
1 oz. lager beer
3 teaspoons of pineapple and chipotle jelly
Ice
Green lemon twist
One slice of dehydrated pineapple to garnish
Preparation:
Pour the pineapple juice, vodka, ancho reyes liquor and 2 teaspoons of pineapple and chipotle jelly into a cocktail shaker and add a handful of ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
Strain the preparation into a rocks glass full of ice. Add light beer to fill up the glass, you can also add a teaspoon of the pineapple and chipotle jelly on top.
Add the dehydrated pineapple slice and a green lemon twist as a garnish.
